Act Now: No Waiting for Aligned Planets
Hey my beautiful makers, I hope to find you fine.
This was a jam-packed week with too much excitement for me, and I documented everything on this issue.
So….let’s start :)
👉 Do you have a newsletter and want to exchange a shout-out?
Let’s do it here: https://tally.so/r/mZ9qV0
My week
This week was super challenging😅
I had my 1st pitch in my life, where I talked about CodeMentorGPT.
You can watch it here 👇
And now it’s for Sale at NoCodeSale directory
Harold talked about that on his newsletter 👇
And it was a wonderful experience, specially for people that shared this journey with me.
But the week didn’t end with the pitch. I felt overwhelmed, so it’s easy got stressed when you have a lot of things to do, cause you think all the tasks have the same weight. No! So I applied my favourite technique to prioritize my tasks.
Check this awesome article out by Todoist where they explain the Eisenhower Matrix
And yes… I’m already scanning my small bets ideas list for the next challenge.
My mind does not want to stop🤦
Finally I built…again…but the sweet version…with my baby💓
Be a finisher
I learned a lot during these 6 weeks of NoCode Exit Club challenge.
And the biggest lesson: ship, even if it’s not exactly how you wished!
And this lesson matches in perfect way with something I’ve read on this side projects guide for programmers by John Sonmez.
Don’t you worry if the article’s talking to programmers: it doesn’t matter.
What matters is this quotation:
Getting 99% done with a project, but not shipping it has 0% value.
Read it again, please. You could go until 99%, but if you don’t force yourself to accept you’re not perfect, and that the life is challenging (because we have to juggle with family life, children and fulltime job), your effort is in vain.
So I am accepting I am human and that to be perfectionist goes against of me… So I force myself to just ship.
I’ll get better the next iteration.
Worth mentioning
If you wanna be serious to building, and you wanna increase your chances to sells to buyers, carefully watch this video by Shlomo and Harold. Tons of gems here. And take notes while you watch it!
Last week I talked here about parents who build.
Well, Hazel and Tobi are 2 real builder moms rockstars.
Hazel launched her Narrated Tour on PH and it ranked #4 yesterday (and she’s selling it on the HustleGPTSale).
She remind us the mum’s life is not just a PH thingy.
Super amazing.
Tobi pitched her project, like me at the NoCodeSale event.
She’s selling whatSideHustl, a tool to generate personalized side hustle ideas.
Now look at this:
Could be enough. But I was even shocked when I saw her 1st slide of her pitch
I don't think any of us have the excuse to say to ourselves: I don't have time to do anything.
Only respect.👏
Thank you for dedicating some of your time to me again today.
