Hi friends! My weekend is exciting enough for 3 reasons:
Yesterday I saw my new car for 1st time and that’s super cool
This morning I had a recording session for my 3 youtube channels
I’ll have family time 💗
ok enough with the romance.
Let’s go!
my bat cave where i love to record my videos
Power At Your Fingertips
I love my Elgato Stream Deck. This device was born for gamers, but it’s perfect for creators in general. By simply pressing a key, you can launch a program, a file, a sequence of operations, etc.
I use it intensely, especially when I agree that I am performing repetitive actions. And there I understand that it's time to automate within my beloved Stream Deck.
An example? I realized that to manage my Small Bets portfolio, I switch between many pages on Notion, resulting in a headache 🤕
Especially with the entry of my latest small bet, the YouTube channel "Il Pianista Misterioso".... was a 3rd YouTube channel really necessary? Maybe not.... but if I didn't, I would have thought about it for days... so when in doubt, I'll make this fucking channel :D
Now I can quickly open my small bets folder from my Stream Deck
There inside you’ll find: my Today & Week Views
and the Single projects
I tested and it opened my Notion pages on my browser.
I didn’t like that, because I prefer using the client app on my laptop.
Well, now I can press those buttons, and they will open Notion pages directly on the client! Thanks to Thomas Frank for the hack.
Other interesting things I did:
I added a biolink to my Twitter profile to track my portfolio of small bets.
You can use biolink for that.
This is my link
My Week in Tweets
My first video attempt to show you the progress of my small bets portfolio:
Worth mentioning
Always thinked. Matt Giaro confirmed.
My friend Jason is experimenting on Youtube like me. Check out his channel: you’ll love that stuff!
Thank you for dedicating some of your time to me again today.
